Ha, Darren. Good to hear he's set himself up like that. The last time I bumped into him was at Critical Mass some years ago, outside the Duke of York (as was), and he said he was building frames from home. He was starting to get into framebuilding when Chaingang was my local bike shop and already had some very pretty frames in the window.
I met Tom Board, too, when he was working at Chaingang, but had no idea at the time that he had such a history. The last I heard, he was living in a nursing home somewhere--do you know if he's still around?
