We'd already received a completion statement from the seller's solicitors but at 11am they sent an amended version. I've asked for a breakdown of the costs but from what I understand we'd have to put in a claim/complaint and prove that these costs are unreasonable.
"In the meantime I am afraid we must provide you with an amended completion statement. Our client has appointed new managing agents... blah blah blah ...you’ll see we have amended the apportionment in the attached completion statement.
I am aware this is very late in the game to adjust apportionments but am afraid I have only just been notified of the service charge increase. My client apologises to yours for any inconvenience.
