How does the frame affect the under-crown clearance of a fork or brakes?
Frames and fork, some road fork is a touch longer (or the mount sit higher), some is so low that the shoes is set at the top of the arms.
For instance, Engima tapered road fork give slightly more clearance than the standard carbon fork that come with the 2015 Genesis Volare.
