  • Mine are going strong so far, not broken them yet. Very good cages

  • Glad to hear it.

My only experience of carbon cages are the Arundel jobs where the bottom 'hook' came away after about a year

  • Saddle found - Paradigm RL Ti railed job - might be a bit narrow at 138mm to my normal 143mm Romin, but I'll give it whirl

Decals came the other day too from Wanit.co.uk - really helpful and rapid postage. Will get photos of them up when I re-find them.....

  • Re-found the decals and I've just noticed that they are upside down

The fade should be Red-Gold-Green :)

They were £11 for 3 sets so no major disaster

Not sure about them atm, may get some others made up, may keep these....

  • Got a BB from the shop and put the cranks on to see how they looked. Various shades of silver/grey on Ti would seem to be how this is developing

Seat post should arrive tomorrow too.

  • Looks promising!

  • I've got the black versions of those brakes and was seriously considering stripping and polishing them! They look awesome silver.

  • Yeah they look mean I think, well as mean as brakes can look anyway.

I thought they would be a darker grey from the sales photo, but they look really good in shiny silver. I now just need to BC them up with some gold and green paint in the right spots and they're done

  • Was about to link to some older Aeoleus wheels on TT forum but they've sold, would've been perfect :(

  • Ah, cheers for the thought.

Problem I'm having is that I need 11 speed compatibility. So my Bargain DA 9000/1 mini group will prob end up costing me more in wheels, a lot of the older Bonty hubs are 10 speed max and a mare to swap the freehubs, apparently.

I have one outside shot at some serious wheelage, but if that doesn't come off it will be a waiting game I'm afraid.

Its also proved to be very hard to get hold of the RL IsoZone bars I swear by, in 40cm.

Ah well, best get on with building my wife's bike back up anyway :)

Seat post for this came today though and its spot on.

  • Older RXL seat post to match the stem.

  • sweet build

Cheap, colour coded Bontrager forks on eBay.

    Steerer is probably too short...

  • This is a 1" head tube and I'm very much in love with the EC90's that I have already.

All Ebay/non Ebay pointers greatly appreciated though.

@russmeyer ha ha, just spotted that. I am a terrible photographer and my phones camera is knackered to!!

  • if you're even wanting to swap for a black pair..

  • Someone is selling Aeolus 5.0 clinchers here http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=107088

  • T-V
Lovely looking frame. I had to google to see if there is any connection with Kent Eriksen (also ti frames from Denver, Colorado), but the name is purely coincidence. Kent Eriksen and Dean Kent - totally different people!

My initial thoughts, too. Really liking the look of this already!!

  • Cheers, I've emailed him.

  • He's decided to keep them...... :(
