Selling this Koga Miyata Gent's Tourer. Overall in good condition. Nice polished rims. Brake and shift cables are new. Great 'randoneur' brake handles which make this bike ideal as city cruiser. Handsome Miyata panto crank. Hi-Manga tubing.

Hi,

Yes, these can take a rack if you'd ask me. Clearance between tire and brake is now: front 2,5cm and rear a little over 1cm. Originally they came with somewhat wider rims for tires size 27x1 1/8" according to the spec in next extract from the prospectus. I've checked and this size is also stamped in the rims as these are original to the bike. Compared with my own Miyata racebike the are indeed wider.

Rear width is 120. I have a rack that seems to fit the bike, I'll PM you some pics!
