Just bought a 54" pre cursa that is set out as a freewheel single speed. It has the bridge drilled for a rear break. I'm going to be using it for cycling sround Bristol working for Deliveroo - I'm worried the bridge may break. Should I be?

Should be fine I think....well if its been done professionally that is.

@Mancini I am relatively new to bikes. Would there be any point in reinforcing it with a plate of some sort? Also, if it was to break - would it be possible to fix it without having to buy a new frame? Just for peace of mind.

Maybe try and source a curved washer of some sort so that the brake calliper has a nice flat mount

I doubt I will be using a rear break as I'll be riding fixed, but if I ever do I'll make sure I get one of those. Thanks man
