Depends why you're wanting to return it. Have you changed your mind, or is it faulty?

Changed mind

• #75929
If you've just changed your mind and there's no reason for you to be unhappy with the product itself (they have followed your instructions for the customisation and haven't misled you as to what it will look like) then you're stuck. They have no obligation to accept the return.
If the item isn't as you expected and they've done something wrong then you may have more luck. Ultimately they've given you what you asked for and they're now unable to resell it as they've customised it. -

Slightly different then, ive changed my mind because its not entirely what I expected now I've seen it in person, which I guess it why the online 14 day thing exists. its not faulty though, just not what i expected

• #75931
What is it? Failing a returns, could you resell it here to recoup some of your money?
-
• #75932
Ah. In which case you're arguing with them over whether the item (with customisation) was not as described. If that's the case then they have to accept the return, but you'll have to convince them it's not as described.

Wheel dillemma: Shimano RS-10 vs Campagnolo Khamsin (non-G3). Found both for £75/pair - I know nothing about either, which should I plump for?

About 3-4 years ago a bunch of people on here chipped in to get a massive load of semi-custom* frames from Poland. Was ir Orlowski? Was there a thread for it? Did it ever happen again?
* Seem to recall there were a few options to choose from

Need reliable maps to get me across Deutschland next month. Had considered downloading sections with Google Maps, since their navigation seems pretty alright. I have an old Garmin and Europe maps maybe a year or two old.
Someone recommended I use Maps.Me.
What's the recommended software for long cycle navi, offline?

have you tried ridewithgps ?

• #75939
on a related note, does anyone have a good North London route, about 50/60 miles? I was looking at doing this https://ridewithgps.com/routes/11472538
but I'm slightly put off by the amount of the ride that's in built up areas. -

Google-fu is weak tonight: 10 speed SLX cassette - do they need a spacer behind on some newer hubs?

10 speed SLX cassette - do they need a spacer behind on some newer hubs?
A CS-HG81 cassette won't need a spacer if you're using an MTB hub or an 8/9/10-speed road hub. If you're fitting it to an 11-speed road hub, you'll need the 1.85mm spacer.
-
• #75943
Thanks. Doesn't seem to want to tighten up, I think this is the hub, wasn't sure because it mentions 11 speed freehub... http://www.halowheels.com/products/part/HUHAM6R2K
Best check I've got all 10 sprockets on...
-
• #75944
it mentions 11 speed
If it's for 11-speed road cassettes (e.g. for CX), then you need a 1.85mm spacer to fit a 10-speed cassette, plus the 1mm spacer where applicable (not in the case of CS-HG81, but some 10-speed road cassettes need it)
-
• #75945
Thanks. After a bit of searching, despite being branded mountain hubs, they use the same freehub body as their 11s road hubs. Spacer it is!

What are the percentages given by chain checkers/chain wear indicators of? Percent of wear? Does that mean 100% would be an infinite distance between links? Or double?
Why not just have distances? I don't get it. What am I missing? -

Does anyone know if the law on goods bought online must accept returns changes if the products are customised? The shop says 'no returns accepted on customised products' which is what I have ordered, but does that exempt them from the law?
