One other question for you. When you've changed rings on P2M, have you notice much shift in the slope? I know you can't re calibrate a P2M like SRM, and P2M say changing rings does NOT matter, but from a physics point of view, it will still alter the slope. I guess P2M think it won't alter it by anything mesurable.

Have you measured a change in slope on P2M when changing rings? Can I re calibrate it myself? Like with SRM? Going from 50t to 56t, so a bit of a change.

    Thanks.

Edit: appears static tourque can be done in same vein at SRM. But not possible to change slope if different. http://jibbering.com/sports/power2max-review.html

  • Not necessary - I did a test on my P2M ages ago with different chainrings (even oval ones) and especially with round rings the way they've built them means you don't need to change the slope. You can't either!

  • That's good. Thanks.

Do you know what it is they've done differently to SRM to allow for that? I presume its based on the position and fixation of strain gauges.
