APC are nice but I still prefer Albam denim. I've been impressed with the Natural Selection stuff I picked up last year. Not bought any denim this year :'(

Bought these in '96, I've had (sold and given away) loads of them but this is the last pair I have... '95 Irish made Lee 101Z... This was the shit back in the mid 90s, £65 a pair from American Classics... At one point I was getting them for £12 a pair (from a top secret source) and punting them on for £20... Loads of washes, not very well taken care of... I'm wearing them at my new band's first gig tomorrow night, can't button them up but fit fine elsewhere... They'll be fine with a belt... They're great...

Why are Howies still £125 but now made in China? Not complaining about quality (haven't tried these) but the only reason to move production offshore is usually £££ isn't it?

It's about increasing margins not reducing retail price.
