I'm currently riding in the Pyrenees with a carbon disc bike with 105/HY/RD.
It's so nice being able to gently brakes extremely late at 70km/h in a hairpin bend.
And no need to change the pads, even if you live in the Pyrenees for a year.
Seriously considered it, ignore @amey disdain toward disc as he have never ridden a full road hydro set up.

You make some very valid points! This is the issue I guess, pros for both sides. So if you were me, you'd just get the yellow 12 with DA and discs and be done with it?
