Wasn't Fergie also fucked off with the sectarianism, as well as the whole challenge of a sleeping giant, plus he wasn't at one of the big 2 in Scotland- hence easier to fuck off after winning in Europe?

What Goodison needs is a nice, level headed lunatic like Paolo Di Canio.
I think Bielsa is a bit of a lunatic isn't he?What's that? Dave Whelan broke his leg in an FA cup final, you say?

And there were probably noises the ban was ending.
Also, Scotland. Who wouldn't want to fucking leave right?

Plastic update:
In the Emirates box. On the halfway line. Heated seats. Emirates air hostesses.
Very plastic.

'Surely anyone else would have murdered just as many eyetie twats as we did, why are we the bad guys?'
Liverpool in excelsis

Were they deliberately murdered or did the stadium collapse?

You are on a hiding to nothing. Amazed that some Everton fans feel they were victims of Heysel. 39 people never went home from a football match. Let's keep things in perspective.

My kids (theoretical) are supporting Forest or they're being put up for adoption.

No doubt it'll be confiscated before they even enter Wembley

Is he to blame for Bobby Martin's poor defence too?

i heard on the radio the emirates was pretty empty last night
proof ?
-
• #127293
To be fair, that was taken about 2 hours before kick off.
It was a little on the empty side last night though and quiet (as usual). No one turned up from us either though.

It'll get through based on accuracy.

re Kids.
Theo's mildly interested - 3 visits to Villa Park. 2 wins and a draw. Doesn't really care that much though.
Bella's not interested - but has been to Villa Park once. 1 win.
Caspar is fully Villa, though playing Fifa likes to be Bayern or Barca (<< glory hunter). Sadly, he did ask if he could support a Premier league team as well next season so I told him that would have to be Palace. Don't think that'll stick. -

I told him that would have to be Palace>
Brutal.

As long as he doesn't support WBA as a show of defiance.

if I have kids I'll not force them to support Middlesbrough.

That's tantamount to child abuse.
The Scots lured the best from the English game in the 80s...
Genuine question/point: Knowing that hooliganism was rife throughout all of football, back then the European and Uefa cups featured one team/country, and the Italian fans were known for being moped pillion riding, knife wielding twats, surely any other set of fans that featured in that final would have been doing the same against them? There is a lot that LFC did poorly but exactly why are Liverpool blamed for Uefa's decision to host a European cup final in a stadium that was falling apart and made of cinder blocks when the only thing it was fit for was demolition? [Obv nowt to do with chelsea.]
