Managed a grand total of 40miles today. Was great,but I'd forgotten a) two bottles, and b) that it was quite so hilly.
Really ran out of water early on, so had a bit of a miseryfest. But in the best way possible. Just wasn't how I'd hoped to say goodbye to being such a short distance away from the most beautiful riding anywhere.
In retrospect the 53/39 /11-25 made it slightly more of s challenge.
