I finished building up my bike at the weekend, with my new wheels as the finishing touch.
As the weather was good yesterday I decided to start work at 5am so I could knock off at 2 and go for a ride. Had a great time - one or two niggles - but the highlight was stopping at the lights in Ruislip on the way back and a guy on a shiny red, fast-looking motorbike looked across and said 'I bet that cost more than this!'
