It's had a drivechain rattle from the start. At first i thought it was a creaky BB from a ham fisted install but after having it on a stand and spinning the cranks/wheels I think it could be the rear wheel hub.
It's more of a rattle than a creak, and doesn't need to be under heavy load (ie me pedalling) to make the noise. Simply spinning the cranks. However, when i remove the chain and just spin the wheel it doesn't make the sound.
The wheels are second hand. Should I just get the rear hub serviced? The only other option at this stage is re-installing the BB.
I've just built up this https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/284163
