yes it is. one of the best games of last year for me.

Should Witcher 3 be my next game, or is it too big? Really enjoyed Tomb Raider - beautiful graphically, decent learning and levelling curve, killed lots of people with cool weapons (well, mainly the compound bow). Don't want something that'll steal the whole summer.

cdkeys had it cheap as well. I have it for both PS3 and 4. Still never finished it. Too many games, too little time.

it can definitely go that way (i've 100%'d it minus the thousands of worthless loot items in the sea skellige) but it's very fun and the questlines are pretty good with plenty of variety.

Cheers for the heads-up. I bought Rapture too and loved playing it last night. So pretty, and no actual hand-eye co-ordination required.

So PS4.5 aka NEO. Interesting move by Sony. I'll probably upgrade just because, but I wonder how well it will do. The rules about the games are pretty good though. It has to run on original, and no NEO exclusive games / items.

Anyone else played Dirt Rally? Easily the hardest driving game I've ever played. Incredibly addictive.

I accidentally bought a racing wheel / seat last week. Managed to spend about an hour on it last night but still really struggling with a particular snow stage. Rage quit at least 10 times.

It's that combination of urgency, taking some risks and driving carefully. So hard. The worst thing is when you effectively write off half an hours play by irreparably damaging your car in the middle of a championship and automatically get relegated to last place. It's almost like you need to enter some kind of trance-like zen state to do well in it.

Also, the ps4k can do one. Bit pissed they're about to drop a better console months after I (and millions of others) got one. It sounds like they're going to be very strict on keeping the games/features even across both versions though, which is the least I'd expect.

Just means the cost is going to rocket for developers though right? Sony really know how to shoot themselves in the foot.
