  • I really don't believe in the whole Jose to Man Utd thing.
The papers, working for Jose and his agents are obsessed with rolling out the same old BS but I just can't see anything in it whatsoever. I'd be very surprised if it happens.
And Arsenal have to finish 4th it's just the way it is

  • That would make a lot more sense.

  • Jose to PSG would be a surprise. More so because of the way he labeled Ligue 1 previously.

  • Taking the PSG job is a bit like taking an international football job - weekly kickabout and then CL qualifying.

  • They'll give him £100,000 a week minimum, although he's turned down Syria recently, and I'm sure they offered him a hefty wack.

  • Even closer at the top of the Championship now. Listening to that game was exhausting.

  • I went to yoga instead because I'm a wanker

  • Hot yoga.

  • I sat at home and shouted at the radio. I don't think that says anything good about me.

  • It do say something good Aggie. I was the same. Why was that not on tv

  • Playoff spot secured.

  • ^ well done on securing your heightened disappointment.

Not following boro Burnley it live means that I didn't feel the pain of the last min equaliser.

I think Brighton and Burnley will win their next 2 games. So we need to win win draw to see us up.

    SAT 23 APR 2016 - 15:00 - Middlesbrough v Ipswich
    FRI 29 APR 2016 - 19:45 - Birmingham v Middlesbrough
    SAT 7 MAY 2016 - 12:30 - Middlesbrough v Brighton

  • The season was beginning to be another write off for us after our disastrous run of form after Boxing Day. However, 4 wins in a row (2 impressive home wins and 2 hard fought away ones) means we're one of the form teams in the league again at a crucial time of the year.

A lot of Derby fans want Boro and Burnley to go up automatically now as they seem to be our bogey teams, but Brighton are on fire at the moment and I'd rather avoid them if possible.

It's likely we'll be facing Hull over two legs, which would've been a bit of a scary proposition in previous seasons, but we've beaten them comfortably twice already this season and we should be confident against them again.

Maybe Sheff Weds can beat the third place team and get to Wembley...?

  • I'm most looking forward to getting smashed by Darby in the playoffs after losing to Brighton on the last day of the season, Karanka walking out, everything falling apart and only 28 people turning up to our first home game next season. I won't be there obvs.

  • Speaking of Karanka:

'We scored our goal because we always try to play good football, Burnley just played with long balls'

    oof

  • You care to make a prediction on which of the three teams will get automatic promotion?

Burnley had a real go at teams in the PL last season. I like what karanka does at Boro and Hughton seems a nice chap as well, not followed Brighton much this season but I've been twice to falmer and it's a lovely ground. Good beer on tap too.

  • Oh man. I was hoping #footballhadstopped

  • Been meaning to post this for a bit. Finally found it.

  • 'Boro and Burnley. With Burnley champions and Boro drawing with Brighton on the last day to get 2nd place.

Boro, Burnley and Brighton to win all the other games.

  • I'd like Boro to go up and take Bamford on loan from us again and actually play him in the PL.

Both Palace and Norwich can't score in a brothel, yet Neil and Pardew have pretty much all but ignored him.

  • That would be lovely, he's too good for the Championship but he's not a striker really. V intelligent but not that physical or quick. He'll be best behind a striker or 2 but may be a bit of a luxury for a bottom half team. He needs to be pulling strings for an attacking team...but is he good enough to get into a prem team that has real attacking intent.

Anyway, we'd hopefully welcome him back and hopefully be able to make it work if we go up.

  • pheonix from the flames hereford united sit atop midland league division 1 needing just two more wins to be crowned champions

they have regularly set midland league attendance records both home and away this season
they are also in the vase final at wembley on the 22nd may
might make my annual pilgrimage to a footie ground

  • come on you bulls
