I would pull in the base of the front fender.
Smaller entrance, bigger exit = greater safety.

I'm slowly cutting the stay shorter each days as it need to be exactly right otherwise it'll interfere with the quick release.

Tomorrow, it's time to bring out the dremel.

@Chak it's a tourer, hardly have anyone sitting on the back of me.
