Who was the busenger on the 243 in the Titus cap, red jacket and chrome bag ? Seemed very much like someone on here who had opted not to ride the bike home after a skin full...

Who was riding with a bunch of Rapha-ers and shouted at me today? In Bromley somewhere.
-
• #73811
HELLO @dan ! That was Rob and I.
Also spotted @Crumbs @hillbilly near Beddlestead Lane and then @ad441 going up a hill I forget the name of.

Not sure how I feel about being described as a 'Rapha-er' ;)
After spotting @hillbilly on Beddlestead he jumped out at Rob on the way home too, double hillbilly spot.

First time DAS request, by a girl on Sunday just as i turned left off Hoxton St onto Old St, round 1pm. I had JUST set-off (as I shouted in embarrassment)...I tried my best...ask me again when I has speed/momentum and I will do as my name suggests....

Ah hey dude! Sorry I didn't recognise you. Tight bit of road there, I was busy squeezing past :)
See you soon I hope.

Apologies - to be fair it was 90% Rapha in that group :)

Pretty sure that was a @Rod_Munch heading westbound up Ampton St. Gave a yell but I think he's learnt to ignore my shouts after last time.
Also rode with a forum lurker up through Finsbury Park and along the wonderfully traffic-free Wightman Road (despite random barriers and part time bike bouncers). Hi!

Early evening spot of @TW passing like two ships in the night through twickenham...
Long time no see, loving the hooped top.. -
• #73824
Oh hai, yeah, that was me. I heard the shout but could only see random looking cyclists riding away at speed so wondered if I was going bonkers.
Also loving Wightman Road at the moment - I wonder if the local residents, who I imagine were up in arms about it being closed, are having a change of heart yet. As I pootled up there in the sun, watching the postman stroking a local cat in the middle of the road and two old ladies chatting from their opposing gardens sipping cups of tea - I could scarcely believe it was same faceless, ferocious rat-run I lived next door to for so long.

It's always worth quoting this research:
http://www2.uwe.ac.uk/faculties/FET/Research/cts/projects/reports/hart_2008_driven_to_excess.pdf
While it's not specifically about filtering, filtering works towards the sort of more favourable conditions described in the study and currently being enjoyed by residents.
Who was on the Brooklyn that then followed me into EyeCulture?
