What age do you have to be to qualify for veteran status?

Old :(

Do you need to be accredited?
-

WHO CAN ENTER? Any rider who was 40 or over on 1st Jan 2016. You must hold a full British Cycling Racing Licence or equivalent. Provisional licence holders will have to buy a day licence for each round.
DO I NEED TO BE ACCREDITED? Riders in A and B categories will require Herne Hill Race Accreditation, UK Track Accreditation, Lee Valley Level 4 or similar. C category will require a minimum of Herne Hill Training Accreditation. Click here for a list of upcoming accreditations at Herne Hill.

So I'd have to ride with the nodders.

Lol. Did you never get accredited either?
I have UK track accreditation from that trip to Newport so I can put myself into the B group and see how I go -

I'd stopped racing before accreditation was introduced. Will have to sort it out soon, although the lack of a working track bike is a bigger issue.

You must have stopped around the same time as me then. Last time I raced at HH was the 2010 season. My body will most likely just fall apart completely doing this :|

I'm sure @Zed would let you use his Merckx. I don't think he's ridden it much in the last two years.
I would lend you mine, but I think 55cm will be too small for you, even with 13omm boat anchor stem. Also, it's sort of set up 'just so' for me :)

Can't give that frame away...

Thanks, I could always hire a bike. Or buy one.
I actually have a track frame still, my steel Casati that I was too precious about.

Too cold for me yesterday. Has to be at least 14degrees before I consider racing :) Willl try for next month

I am thinking of ending my Herne Hill exile by attending these this year. Anyone else going to be taking part?
