Get handy with a dremel.

But does it fit?
If it's simple I'll use p2m on TT bike, if not I'll use the srm.Maybe I'll just use the SRM anyway, I've got a 55t 130 bcd already. 55 will be OK.

What's another £2500 when you've already spent £2000 for nothing...

You're fucking joking me? Cannondale wtf?!

Just get a track SRM. Same Q, 165mm.

I have aero rings on my Type S. No problem.
My Rotor 3D cranks are 165mm. But I had to wait for them. At the time it seemed they did a Limited Production run of 165mm. Which were then bought up by recumbrantists. I thought Rotor had made a thing about being availible in loads of lengths since. So should be easy to get.

Link? BB type?
CPM don't have any 165mm.
P2M don't have any Rotor Flow.

110bcd?
Which rings?Thanks

3D+ are available in 165mm from p2m, but not Flow.

Speaking of powertaps, someone locally is offering G3 & Open pro combo for £275 - Is that good?
I'd hit it.
That's settled then. Just need to get a Raltec cover for it.

Good luck with that - he has stopped making them for the moment....

Bugger!

Sorry hadnt seen this.
110bcd.
Aero style Q-rings, Aero Doval rings, and aero Osymmetrics (these have decent gaps between bolt areas though).(About to buy some of the New Absolute black rings as Doval mistakenly forged their rings from soft cheese)
There is a slight protrusion out the back of the crank arms. Which I Guess could interfer With aero rings. But the P2M doesnt present a problem at all.

• #7240
Yeah, it's fucked me right up. Racing without power like a neanderthal.
-
• #7241
Ta. Think I'll just use the srm for TT bike anyway now.
-
• #7242
Eyeing up the powertap P1s. Been out for a little while now and mostly RRP everywhere. Vectors down to £800 now. Do we think it's worth holding on for the P1s to drop or are they likely to stay that way for a while?

Worth considering the bulkiness of Your BB area, considering its a TT bike. My Felt AR has a fat arse BB area. So I need to pull my cranks off to Access the battery.
Kinda annoying.

• #7244
The rotor issue was for a steel bike, not a TT bike.
The TTbike has a steel bsa bb bonded into the carbon frame (quite clever). The di2 wires will run under and around in, back up into the seat tube. The seat post comes out and battery gets put down inside. Loads of space in there tbh.

Chuck the battery in some pipe insulation and it'll sit nicely.
-
• #7246
Yeah good idea. Better than the cut up camping matt one I had. The other was cutting a polystyrene block to fit seat tube and then cutting a whole to fit it in there.

• #7247
Or use Sugru to make the battery fit. Currently a project I'm undertaking on my S2 rebuild.

I get the impression that demand for the P1s is still outstripping supply, so I doubt there's going to be much discounting for the foreseeable. I was planning on getting some P1s, but now you can fit Vector 2 internals into Shimano Ultegra pedals I'm wondering whether I should get the Vectors instead given that normally I use SPD-SL pedals on my road bikes.

Makes sense when you put it like that. I just have an annoying track record of buying stuff before discounts or updates happen. Buyer's hesitancy...
Found them for £900 but no stock for a few weeks. Will probably hang on for that

One other question for you. When you've changed rings on P2M, have you notice much shift in the slope? I know you can't re calibrate a P2M like SRM, and P2M say changing rings does NOT matter, but from a physics point of view, it will still alter the slope. I guess P2M think it won't alter it by anything mesurable.
Have you measured a change in slope on P2M when changing rings? Can I re calibrate it myself? Like with SRM? Going from 50t to 56t, so a bit of a change.
Thanks.
Edit: appears static tourque can be done in same vein at SRM. But not possible to change slope if different. http://jibbering.com/sports/power2max-review.html
Nah, 170mm smallest crank arm.
