I've grudgingly come to accept that my Oak is too big for me, which is a shame because it's a lovely thing, but there's no point having a bike which doesn't fit me so my loss is your gain.
It's a custom Oak Cycles frame built in 2013, painted a rather nice dark grey. The original owner didn't keep it for very long before selling it to @fredtc who sold it on to me in 2014.
It's a 631 frame with lovely details like internal cable routing, a stainless steel headbadge and lugs aplenty. It also rides great: as you'd expect it has fantastic ride quality. It'll take 25mm tyres with mudguards or slightly bigger tyres without ;)
The top tube is 56cm (one centimetre too long for me, sadly), seat tube is 54cm and chainstay length is 41cm. These are all centre to centre measurements. Frame weight is 2.1kg, I can weigh the forks if you care.
Included is the original steel fork with lugged fork crown, as well as a carbon fork which came with it. I'll also include the Cane Creek 40 headset although it felt a bit crunchy to me before I took it apart so I'd suggest a new headset is in order.
Generally it's in excellent condition and any marks/scratches are tiny and could probably be improved with T-cut and a polish. Exceptions to this are a scratch I've found on one of the fork legs, a small mark next to the 'Made in Britain' text (see picture) and an area behind the seat tube where it looks like something was rubbing slightly at some point. I've included photos so you can judge for yourself. There are also some scratches to the carbon fork, although they aren't terrible.
SOLD SOLD SOLDLooking for £400 please. Pickup from Lower Clapton, E5. I will remove the bottom bracket (unless you want it) but I need to get my tool back from a friend so haven't done that yet.SOLD SOLD SOLD
