• i'm unsure as to if Tange 94 was actaually used, or it was just a machiavelian ploy to for the east asian market, as i have a 94 tange super pui which is exactly the same as one built with columbus tubes, so, as far as i'm aware, the 94 master tange is the same dimensions as gilco

  • Here's my Gianni Motta which is the reason I was asking. It was described as Columbus MS Gilco from between 1988-1992. I thought all the fluted tubes were Gilco, with number of flutings perhaps related to age, but not confined to Colnago. As I'm sure you know, you can find different Gilco decals, some with Colnago on them like the ones up thread, others just saying Columbus MS Design etc, so I was thinking that this could indeed be Gilco. But there's lots of types of crimp/fluting and different makes of bike further up the thread, and I can't find any picture of a Gianni Motta with tubing decal, so who knows. The fork at least is from a Gianni Motta!
