Hi all,
My Gazelle single speed (56/56 C-C) no longer gets any use and is taking up valuable bike space and is a bit small for me so looking to get shot. I think the frame is from the mid to late 80s.
Mixture of bits, including:
Nitto Tectronic stem (110mm)
Slightly battered Turbo saddle
Sugino 52 tooth crank
Front wheel is Weinmann deep rim and rear is unbranded (and not deep!)
Hubs are unbranded
Brakes are campag veloce
Brake levers are condor (one is missing a nut which I have replaced with a nut that does the job)
Pedals are Kyukoto top race with toe clips which have lost the ends due to continual scraping
Not sure on brand of headset or BB
BB shell is Cinelli
Frame is AA special with 531 competition tubes and nice internal cable routing
Tyres are gatorskins with life left in them
Handlebars - no idea
Condition wise, the frame has some bits of rust here and there but nothing major. I have pictured all of the bits. Paint work is generally a bit tatty but there are no dents or dings. Wheels are true as far as I can tell, and headset/BB/hubs relatively smooth. No loose spokes either. Crank is a bit scratched but nothing major. There is some red tape over the chrome on the rear triangle which hides some flaking chrome. Chain is new - bike was serviced last year and hasn't been ridden since. Bar tape is a bit mucky.
Seatpost is not included as it's intended for another bike. You'll have to provide your own I'm afraid or I can sell you a Campag chorus post for £40.
I'm a big fan of riding this bike - it's responsive and really lets you throw it around. I'll be sorry to see it go but I need to make space to have an excuse to buy more bikes.
No idea what to ask so lets start with £150 for the lot. Viewing welcome, I'm on Newington Green N16 9BT.
