  • Finally got my CAAD 10 built. Happy with everything, although had another last minute purchase (stem this time). Will probably take the logo off that at some point. Boring black bike is black.

    I think that having a 24mm crank shaft, and the 160 mm rear rotor gave me better cable run than @swedeee 's ill-fated cable build, has enough space to go over the crankshaft, not under. And one other thing, using these v-brake noodles should give a good cable line if anyone else is having issues with the caliper being at a tight angle

    And another SMP with non-layback post-someone said upthread that you're not supposed to do this?

  • It's an individual thing, some people may need layback, some don't.

    What is necessary is to move the saddle 10-15mm forward than your old conventionally saddle, maybe even more since not all saddle are the same.
