My Genesis Croix de Fer

Another issue I thought would be easier on the Croix de Fer.
I already had to improvise a spacer (from an old tent pole in fact) to fit the front sks mudguard, and now the Tara will not just let itself get mounted, the lower curved tubus clash with the quick release handle.

Haven't really taken the time to figure something out, but I sure expected this kind of thing to be easier. I would like to see how you fit yours! Do you have mudguards and QR as well?

Would be interested to see what you decide to do. Toying with doing this but not sure how I feel about it being quite exposed..q

Been meaning to do something like this for a while now but still haven't got round to it...

That's on big fender strut but no reason something similar wouldn't work on the Tara.

Other option seems to be welding a bracket on...
