Where are the grey leg stripes on the main body piece?

Edit: I think they look grey on monitor but match the R sleeve.

What are people's experiences in the lightweight bibs? I'm tempted by a set that have come up, but they would be my all year round shorter than knee bibs (have 3/4 length for when it gets to proper weather), so I wouldn't want them to be too summery. Any experiences would be dead helpful.

They'll be too lightweight for constant wearing

A friend of mine does this. Proper summer, on their own. Sping/Autumn with proper knee warmers, winter/deep winter with unpadded fleeced tights over them. He loves it.

Anyone got the core shorts? Any good?

I've just taken my core bibs out for their first spin. Bit tighter than classic bibs due to the material being less stretchy. I wear 32 trousers and the mediums are pretty snug on the hips. Also, the wide leg grippers are quite loose, just right for my legs though. Straps are also a bit more constrictive than classics. I like that the back comes a bit higher though.

I've just been to the Birmingham sample sale, didn't seem that cheap to me:

Base layers - £30
Jerseys - £45
Bib shorts - £75
Gloves - £25
Overshoes - £25
Aero suits - £90

Was gonna go, will give it a miss now.

Decent range of sizes? I'm after PT bibs in Medium at the Leeds one.

I grabbed a pair of pro team lightweight bibs but there were only a couple of pairs. No other medium bibs I could see, I guess they'll have other stock they'll put out though so might improve.

Were you at the preview thing then? Was it a little less manic than the normal one?

I just got back from there. Wasn't manic, all quite civilised. I only saw light weight or thermal pro team bib shorts. Loads of rain capes.

Light weight are a possibility then. That price is close to what they were in the sale though, IIRR. Eh. Should be a nice evening anyway. I'll maybe just get some socks.

Dilemma now. Have applied to join the RCC but not had confirmation through in time to go the preview showing last night. Prices look ok to me, but I might just go and splurge on RCC kit instead.
