fair enough, if your new crankset is imminent, surely its a short term solution to a short term problem and effectively just throwing money down the shitter....
that said if you find something cheap that works id probably buy it off you once you move on...
surely 56-58 is quite a wide range as well...?

I don't want to spend £100+ to get something custom made that might be hard to move on (and certainly lose value), but I would consider sub £50 if I could get something generic that would not lose much value. Money down shitter solution vs. no money down shitter solution. But both are solutions.
How is 56-58 quite a wide range? It's precisely three chainring sizes - 56T, 57T and 58T
I don't really want to buy a new one.
If my new cranks every materialise I'll only use it for a couple of races so it's a bit pointless.
I still have quite high cadence for a TTer so, no thanks, 56-58T please.
