nopinz seems good so I can do my own number as I am perminent loner
You're half my age and half my weight, yet you still aren't flexible enough to pin a number to your own arse? I despair of modern youth.

I'd go into the worst pinned numbers hall of fame.
Possibly I'd get DQ'd when my number fell off at the turn! -

Also have the bars, clips and risers off the Felt (no extensions).
The base bar only "looks" aero, but the clips are very adjustable (if a bit of a faff).

3d (sphere, cube...) vs 2d shapes (cylinder, square rod...)

I intend to get that P2 of TT forum.
Did you decide on this?
There's a medium Transition on TTF for £600. Good enough for @umop3pisdn 's favourite tester/twitterer - All it needs is wheels.

Has anyone experimented with sticking on race numbers with double sided tape? Always thought it would allow you to get the number nice and flat.
-
• #1559
No, because race organisers hate it because they get the numbers back damaged or covered in sticky residue. Don't do it.

Glad I asked!

pop them inside a clear plastic wallet then tape that your jersey
-
• #1562
Yeah Im getting it tomorrow. It fits me good and jtll be fast.
Plus transition is ugly! -
• #1563
Who's that then?
I do have a soft spot for Transitions.

So I will build with Di2 components.
Also, DI2 on the old style P2s isn't necessarily easy. Either you end up using the stick on external cable routing that Shimano sell, or alternatively you end up doing some drilling (e.g. http://forum.slowtwitch.com/cgi-bin/gforum.cgi?post=4955231;search_string=internal%20p2%20di2; ) and even then I think you'd need to be pretty inventive to hide the battery.
-
• #1566
Long.
I figured I could hide the battery in the frame (seatpost style battery). More than happy to drill the frame
-
• #1567
It's a while since I looked into it, but I think that the problem with mounting the battery in the seat tube is that the BB shell is solid and so there is no way to run the wires internally.
-
• #1568
Oh ffs
I don't want a di2 battery externally!

• #1569
etap ¯_(ツ)_/¯

cough cables cough good enough for wiggo cough
:P
-
• #1571
It might fit in the ends of one of your extensions. I am planning on trying this with my exocet2, reckon there is just enough room for it plus a cable to get past it.

Sorry, that should have said:
"used to be good enough for umop3pisdn 's favourite tester/twitterer"...Hutch
I too like Transitions. Not elegant at-all, but good looking IMO

• #1573
Who is wiggo?
-
• #1574
Probably only two hangers will be offered for sale, so don't hang-er round if you want one ☺

Belgian guy, Winning Aussie genetics. Wins lots of time trials. Won a tour around France once.
I'm going to replicate my old position. Which was pretty fast. I did spend a fair bit of time testing that. Then test it on this bike. But this will be way faster than the old B2 I rode.
Yeah, clinchers makes way more sense to me, no time for tubs anymore. If anyone sees a jet 9/disc
The tulas should work, should be able to find a stem that makes them right.
