We are talking about crossing the road. You as a pedestrian shouldn't cross where you can't see, it is akin to not looking both ways you nob.
As a driver you should not be driving at speeds where you can't adequately see what is going on.
You do come across as very selfish, and utterly in denial that drivers have a greater duty of care and responsibility.
It is this kind of attitude and ignorance that causes the problem.
