Absolutely a rookie.
We've been through this. I hate adaptors, so I took a drill to my Bonts. Needed bolts just the right length to go through the cleat and into the shoe inserts. Annoyingly the cleat holes are a size Down from the insert holes. But nothing a 800w drill couldnt fix.
