Hmmmm, very tempting. Please keep me in the loop while I try to convince my significant other that we definitely need a pizza oven.

en away from the missus for 8 months and today is date day.
Best vegan pizza spots?
We're in Nunhead so ideally not miles away.
@Cazakstan I can recommend places you recommended -

Hey @Dakin There's the following decent options:
Village Pizza is south:https://www.just-eat.co.uk/restaurants-village-pizza-southwark/menu
Or further away there's Fed in Dalston:http://fedbywater.co.uk/menu/ This is the best date option, they're lovely in there.
Or Voodoo Rays in Shoreditch and Dalston.
Enjoy!

I do that but I use these instead of tortillas, makes for a slightly more authentic base

Welllll... my friend bought the damn thing. It heats the stone, and the entire box, from below which resulted in burnt to a crisp bottom and un cooked tops. The chimney is in the centre so it blatantly suck all the hot air out the top. I have drawn up a plan to modify it. Luckily we have access to stone cutters and welding equipment. Plan is to cut the stone so the fire isn't shielded by it (it will sit at the back and feed heat straight up through a gap we create) and will be making an internal dome to cover the chimney and reflect heat back down with an opening towards the front so air and heat circulates. Kinda wish we had just built our own from local clay. Looks mint in the side of a landing though.

@Dakin Reposting myself from the vegan thread: There's a company called Gozo based in N16 that sells "casheeze" vegan cheese: http://gozodeli.com/
Voodoo Rays have got a new vegan pizza called "the Nutty Professor": Casheeze, mushrooms, courgettes, tomatoes, chilli and butternut squash, I've had it, two thumbs up, would recommend. (They don't have all pizza on all the time though).

The Beatrice from Mamma Dough in Brixton is fantastic. The dough is good enough, but the squash, feta, rosemary and pine nut topping is extraordinary.
Recommended.
They do a vegan version too, which I haven't tried.
They are actually made in the UK :-) Just being sold on an American site.
Delivery is $25. In total I paid (converted to GBP) £362.23 which means if we get the groupage (and obv once the refunds are processed) your gross cost for a unit would be roughly £271.50
