They're certainly thinner than the classics but I guess it depends on how much you feel the cold!
I didn't think they were noticeably more comfortable in hot weather than my classic bibs hence why they're surplus to requirements but I don't know how they'd feel in cooler weather.
It might be worth getting some other opinions from the Rapha thread if you're not sure.
