Nothing wrong with A600s for road use. Cheaper, no need to wear different shoes and not to mention that the shoes are more comfortable to walk on

I've nothing against SPDs, I have those Ritchey Pedals on my daily bike. But if you have a stable then horses for courses.

Hmmk :) Those paradigms look pretty nice

indeed

Shyed away from those due to some reviews, but might try the Pros. Almost half the weight of my M520s.

If you want light get the Micro V4... single sided but 200g.

Recommendations for a aluminium race frame that will clear 28mm tyres and is readily available on the second hand market?

Btwin triban.

CADD10.

Internets seems to suggest different years had quite different clearance. Some claiming 25mm are tight on the fork crown, others managing to fit 30mm Strada Bianchis in (which would be perfect).

Right.
I've got a Planet-X nanolight with sram red and everything carbon - light AF road bike and a Giant TCX slr2 which is pretty much stock. I don't really want to have 2 bikes anymore because of space.
I want one bike to ride on the road, commute and not matter if I go down the odd bridelway. I'd ideally keep Sram groupset. Options?

carbon or steel?
discs or no?

Its a good stable IMO. Unhelpful but keep both.
All you then need is All City JYD.

Genesis Datum? Or if you're over 40, something in Ti?
Seriously tho:
- frame material?
- brakes?
- price?
I'd be tempted by something like the disc Equilibrium or a new All City Mr Pink.
- frame material?

Genesis Datum
'what would kanye do?'
-
• #7194
BTW do Genesis pay on a per post basis or do you only get commish on net sales?
;)
(obvs I realised that's not a Datum)

I would lean towards Datum. You can't buy it atm given stock levels but gives you plenty time to sell.
-
• #7198
That would be top of my list.

The smallest size struggle with the 25mm tyres, the bigger sizes is fine.
Go for CAAD12 as it got massive clearance, even in the high end SuperSix Hi-Mod;
