My understanding is very, if you happen to have the appropriate welding gear and a vacuum to do it in, but it's like any other type of repair in the sense that it won't heal every instance of structural damage and it's dependant on not getting any impurities into the weld that can cause cracks in the first instance.

You should check my XACD Ti Hack Project Tread.
I had a crackd Ti frame which was repaired by Vernon - it has cracked again last week.
Vernon has been kind enough to offer to reweld it so I need to post it back....
Overall:
I would highly recommend using Vernon.
I would highly discourage buying cracked Ti.Could be of interest for @fredtc and @ùbér_grùbér

i spoke to vernon barker about this and was advised that given the size of the crack, even if it was repaired it'd be quite likely to crack again. I think that explains why it's been on ebay for a few weeks
