Track tubs: I'm considering changing from Vittoria Pista CS to something else - these are for my outdoor racing/training wheels. The Pista CS's are okay, but a bit wooden and offer very little puncture protection. Also I've had a few bad tyres in the last year where the basetape has detached from the tub (straight out of the packet).
Was thinking perhaps of switching to a road tyre like a Corsa CX, or an SC, would they be faster at the same psi?
No idea on speed, but I think road tubs are the way to go for Outdoor tracks for training/leagues. Too much crap gets on outdoor tracks to not use something with puncture protection.
I did (outdoor) track league on Corsa CXs and loved them. Veloflex road tubs will be fine too.
