It's not without drawbacks. That much weight on the back needs a heavy rack too, and the front feels twitchy and handling is weird-ish. Also my little girl keeps pulling down my undies, pulling at my chrome bag and surprises me with sudden shifts in balance. All the other people cannot immediately see you have a child on the back, so you're the ranting crazy cyclist, pulling up from behind and saying things like "Last warning, stop it right now or there's no more Peppa Pig" or "Shall we sing a song? What about ba ba blacksheep?"
how did you go with the yepp mini and your knees etc? i always felt like riding on a clown bike, but then again my geometry was straight top bar stuff on the masi cx. Now running a yepp maxi on the back, and suddenly I can ride 20km+ comfortably instead of 8 in a silly fashion.
