  • I am a graphic designer. If you want me to read keep it under 20 words. /beef

  • douracetho

  • Lol so completely different attitude when a very similar frame is posted by @BigH whom also likes to collect and posts his bicycle's on instagram? Makes me think you have a personal problem with me, which is a shame. Never even met you.

@BigH that is very very nice. Ratio? 51x17?

  • @amey I dont really but when I do I like to look good loosing.

    @PHRESHSLAYTE spot on boss.

  • Installed a front rack on my Condor. I've never had a front rack before, and a fully loaded backpack made the front quite heavy. Didn't like how the steering felt so it has to go, I'll just continue to carry stuff on my back. Absolutely garbage pictures below.

  • Either give it a chance to get used to it, or get a steering compensator spring.

your back will thank you went it starts getting hot.

  • Hang in there, it takes a bit of getting used to.

I'm planning to invest in another front rack come summer to avoid a sweaty back...

  • Thanks for the feedback, I'll try it again next month. It's actually pretty suicidal with my current front brake (one of the rack's holes goes with the front brake's screw and I could only install it to the front part of my brake, and that is being hold by a 2 mm wide locknut, with no more threading avaliable - lots of weight on a really small piece never leads to anything good). My new brake arrives in early may, depending on my moniez.

  • I've ordered a pelago front rack for my cross check and I'm so excited about my back not being sweaty when I arrive places.

  • And other options then cetma for a rack with an undrilled fork?

  • pelago racks do seem real good. needs drilled fork though as @haveo says which is annoyin

  • I had a pelago rack and it was ace, felt very solid, a pain to setup though.

  • Is that what that's for.... Ahhh

  • Pelago comes wth adapter to go on track axle or QR.

I discovered a crack on mine though after installing, email to pelago is on the to do list .

  • yeh but nothin to attach to bars. I haz no drilled fork.
ah fuck thats annoyin. definitely not a joinin point?

  • so its only mounted via the Axle @TM?

i'm also looking for an alternative to the cetma in order to avoid the ugly handlebar mount.

  • Ah no mounts to brake hole as well. Which bike would it be for Mark?

@Dakin you need them disc forks anyway no?

Whatever it is I don't expect it from a £100 rack.

  • i thought those palegos were more like £70? £100 will get you a cetma.

  • My pelago was £80 posted. Cetma's are £100 but once you add on shipping from the US and import tax/vat, it's more like £150

  • £95 shipped.

I think they put the price up.

Cetma doesn't have pannier mounts and mounts to bars? not what I was after.

  • i paid £110 shipped and didn't get any taxes.

  • fair play i was more directing that at Joss as he was looking for something with no brake mounting

  • I discovered a crack on mine though after installing

Is that a crack or just a butt joint?

  • Fair enough

Just checked the current cost and it's £130 posted, exchange isn't so good at the moment. I'll probably wait until one comes up here if I can
