Just to follow up from my previous post about my stolen Ciocc...
This morning I headed down to Brick lane market to see if I could see my bike or parts of it for sale. As soon as I get there I see my wheels for sale at the stall by the gates, first one on the left as you walk in the fenced area. Called the police, the guy smells trouble, get rid of the wheels before the police comes. Got home with nothing but anger.
Dont mean ti nag but hopefully this will help other people. Do try to look for your stolen bike in Brick lane, the stolen market is still very active despite everyone knowing the illicit trade. You need to be there before 9am, hot bikes go quick.
And please, do not buy from this stall. (it's the one who normally has a lot of lights) This person has been selling stolen goods indisturbed and clearly has some good contacts with thieves. Quiet clearly though, police is powerless against it... 😢
