a dream to ride
No its not.
You are trying too hard. All your "HHSB" are by number and end up dull or a year too late.
Take some time off.

Ooof. Amey not pulling punches.

Be nice, at least the tyres are pumped up.

Kids with too much money proper killed off the whole spirit of "hhsb" for me. When money is no object it's just boring and tacky.

Easy there, I think a new post would greatly improve the quality of the ride.

Kind of like people sand papering and wire brushing their bikes defies the point of "ratty"

It looks a bit big for u @PHRESHSLAYTE, I think u should sell it to me!!
In other news I have new saddle and cranks coming for this bad boy soon. So happy I've built it again. Couple of frames going out the door instead of this one now.
Also interested in new fork to soften it up a bit. Alu blades and steel steerer aren't the comfiest for these streets, would like to make it a little lighter also. And I think a secondary wheel set is required! Have sold everything else making me a little light on hoops

Sooooo pretty much just like 99% of what you post on hhsrb thread then?
Maybe take some time off to chill out?

What's the maximum tyres you can fit in that frame? rear 28mm no problem, but the front if you can fit at least 25mm, you should able to reduced the amount of vibration from the fork.
Also a slightly padded bar tape might help.

you sure those forks are alu?
-
• #107317
Pretty sure yeah. I am often wrong tho. They certainly ain't light.

Rear is pretty tight really. Had to get my rear wheel trued in order for it to be mounted/spin easily. Currently on 25c's. AppreciTe 28's could make a difference. Would a set back post help?

It would help massively if you find yourself sitting a bit too far forward with all your body weight on your hand instead of evenly distributed between the saddle and bar (you'll notice this when you let go of the bar and find yourself pushing the pedals harder to keep your body upright).
Work out this first before you spend money on everything else, once you got your saddle position in an idea position you like, then you can tweak the stem length.
A quick, easy and free tweak is to drop the tyres pressure on both front and rear by 10psi.

Bt srsly stop building 'on point' bikes for being 'on point'. Its a trend thing, you will never get it right (yet). Build bikes that are actually fun to ride than for instagram likes you will enjoy them better that way.

The bikes that I build I build because I like to ride them, because i like collecting frames and parts for them. Same reason why everyone here does also. However, you wouldn't know that- I have never met or talked to you in my life, so who are you to pass judgement on me. Have you had a similar go at anyone else who has nice bikes and likes to post pictures of them on Instagram online? No. So stop please. I really don't understand your problem.
Need a new saddle and post. Apart from that this is a dream to ride :D
