So are we bidding on left or right hand drive cranks with or without 'changed' pedal threads?

By "perfectly", you mean the damage have yet to occur?
Cranks in wrong side may have the risk of the pedals coming undone, as well as the fixed cog being on the wrong thread direction, if the lockring can hold it well.
