Most of the numbers are meaningless, it won't replicate easily on a new bike

Pointless update, but since I found a tape measure-
963mm Saddle top to pedal.
106cm floor to top of saddle. -

Interesting. I'm a few cm taller and assumed I ran my saddle higher than normal but we have nearly exactly the same bike set up.

Does anyone know if the fork cable guide on a CAAD 10 Disc is easily replaceable? (before I cut the bottom off as it seems useless)
-
• #4887
haha mine has bent weirdly? the bottom could definitely be cut off
-
• #4888
Yeah, I'm thinking of replacing the final cable at each end with a flexible noodle to solve the problems you found with HyRds. Build is becoming a bit of a PITA though

Finally had my first spin on the CAAD10.
Is nice. Wasn't very pricey. Have tarted it up with some jazzier cables and bartape. Probably going to sharpie out the logos cos I'm ghetto like that.
Feels stiff as a very stiff thing even coming from a Ti frame, and very much liking having racier geometry again-feeling better spread out and more aeroz.
Could really do with a carbon post to try and suck up some more of the road noise but the dt swiss 460s paired with gp4000s make it a lot comfier than I'd expected. Definitely brings out your inner weenie though as I'm looking at my chunky Athena components and wishing they were more anorexic.
Still, I tried going to Shimano last year and it just boiled my piss for a few weeks then I sacked it off, and there aint no way I can afford super record so I guess it'll do for now and my main priority will be an extra few teeth on the 25t cassette which was fine with compact but feels a bit serious with the 53t up front.

New cranks because the old ones the thread insert un-bonded from the carbon, also race wheels.

Wee hands. And I'm so used to Campag that trying to switch between the two fries my brain.
Did a DIY bike fit yesterday and put layback seatpost/longer stem on which will hopefully help with the horrible numb hands I was getting.
Also, for those with 23mm rims. Do you ever get a really horrible 'crawly' feeling from your tyres like there's too much traction? Was getting that yesterday and don't know if it's because shitty 25mm Contis come up so small that they don't like the wider rims. I was running at 85 psi front and rear so don't think the pressure was an issue but it almost felt like that flat-tyre understeering.

I might need to borrow it one day in the future if that's cool.
Have you fitted P2M to Hollowgrams before?

If I go for the Si cranks, I don't need this thing do I?
