If it helps I ride a 56 caad10 with 100mm stem and like 10mm of spacers plus the big one it comes with. fits me fine. im 6'1" btw

was just curious. im 177cm, ape +lots also, can't remember off top of head but have fairly absurd reach.
Also I prefer a high as fuck saddle, so much so that there's barely any difference between mine and @6pt's even though he's a fair whack taller than me.

Same, i always end up with ridiculous amounts of bar drop too

P.S. Is the Caad disc a 54 and are you splitting?

Yup CAAD10Disc is 54.
Still unsure of definite sell.

I don't have a tape measure up here with me, but based off CAAD drawing of the Talbot, base of saddle to centre of BB is 800mm.
At a guess therefore- assuming all has stayed the same, looking at 960-970ish? mm saddle to pedal.
177cm tall.

The 56cm Emonda H2 have a very short reach (similar to a traditional 54cm) but with the stack of a 58cm road bike, this is largely why you have trouble getting the fit sorted on both 54cm and 56cm Cannondale.

The 58cm Cannondale CAAD10 match the Emonda H2 in term of handlebar height, but a good 12mm longer than the Emonda H2.

I did tell him he is too use to his 'sit up and beg' trek.
