  • Bump. Is this happening?

  • If you're in I'm in

  • K. Let's chat moar over beer at Souths.

  • If it's happening let me know what time people are aiming to set off. It's a long way from Southgate and don't fancy doing it solo - also I don't have the route

  • I aim to ride round on Sunday and have plenty of old route sheets--what time were you thinking of getting there?

  • I'm gonna get the bike and kit ready in saturday and just play it by ear and see what weather's up to on sunday when I wake up.

  • Is the GHT definitely showing Paris-Roubaix afterwards?

Getting back into town in the afternoon and not sure I fancy heading to Look Mum No Hands as it'll probably be super busy.

  • I believe so and Brixton Cycles are showing it too!

  • Thanks - aye, popped into Brixton Cycles for Flanders last weekend - great stuff.

  • I checked with Brixton CC and they're unsurprisingly heading to BC after the ride to watch.

  • anyone know of a route sheet/gpx I can use?

  • If you use ride with GPS it's on there.

  • I will be going. 0925 Gillingham to Lewisham then riding to Palace Tavern for 11ish

Have a very silly 90's Raleigh Moonshine (hot pink and purple) to try out on LDN's pave. Looking fwd to seeing pals at LMNH and new Brixton Cycles too.

Hope to see lots of you there.

  • Hi - The Gipsy Hill Tavern will be showing P-R for anybody who asks Frank or the bar staff - if there are enough thwy will open up the rear cinema room thing and show it on the massive screen.

  • is this going to be a thing then?

  • I'm in. Gonna ride the CX bike for maximum cobble comfort, save more energy for drinking*

*If Fosters even counts as drinking

  • if it's a thing, in also , probably ride the puple one

  • Only just seen this thread...Lewisham Cyclists talked a bit about doing the full route but eventually gave up on the idea but a few of us are riding our own London Classic Poor Relation on Sunday, so may well bump into you...ours chops off the northern bit, and is solely South London based (shame, I do so love Back Lane and Wapping) and is about half the distance. However, we do Canonbie the hard way! Well, I'll walk it the hard way. We intend to finish at Gipsy Hill Tavern for PR. Have fun and maybe see you all there.

  • see you at the Gypsy Hill Tavern..

  • I'm leaving home at 8 so should be there about 10am. Hopefully I won't be doing the route on my own!

  • Good luck to everyone doing it tomorrow: I did the route today and it was aces. Forgot about those extra kickers after Canonbie. Enjoy!

  • At the GHT. Departing in ten minutes.

  • will be there b4 11

  • If you go up Wells Park road before 11 there may be cheering.

  • did it, nice crowd!
