FUCK THAT:

he omitted to mention the shares were "bearer shares" that he since outlawed as it was a questionable if not illegal practice .

In no way defending Cameron, who is a venal shit IMHO, but I honestly think the bigger issue is that for part of the population what he and his father did was seen as normal and legal, whereas the tide is now changing. He's on the wrong side of that, and I won't be sad if it kills his career - but the attacks are very personal when it's the system and the culture that are the problem. Personalising the issue too much will just allow that system to persist by deflecting attention from it.

This is a man that has been imposing vicious and unfair sanction on the poor and disabled to save the country money whilst not paying his taxes.
He can go and get a dog up him.

There are journos camped outside Boris' this morning, wonder what they're going ask him about..

• #39859
Is Boris connected somehow? I fucking hope so. And Zac.

If it kills him off politically, great - he's a venal shit. But I'd be angry if we don't make moves to close off the offshore loopholes - as Obama has been calling for - because we think that claiming Cameron's political head is 'winning'.
-

his old man ran a big, blue blooded stockbrokers and all he passed on to his sons was a £30k investment in an offshore fund and a bit of cash
WHERE ARE THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS KEPT MR CAMERON ? DO TELL
cameron will end up in a tax haven tucking into his old mans legacy in a few years away from the prying eyes of the proles

I imagine the withdrawal of funds from offshore trusts, followed by (hopefully vain) attempts to legitimise the money is consuming the Tory party at the moment. In my ideal scenario we end up with Ann Widdecombe as the only legitimate candidate to be the next Tory leader.

Cameron (and Osborne) going is one tiny part of that process. This has been made clear over the last week.

an appalling, shameless liar
This is the trap that the spamfaced twunt has set for himself - all of the mealy mouthed responses so far are because he wants to avoid actually lying about his (probably totally legal) financial dealings.
And by "financial dealings", I mean never having to earn his own money, and paying less tax than someone that works for a living.

It's a phenomenon rooted in Tory ideology - you bet they'll be in panic mode.
It makes me sick that the country is run by people who will happily destroy the lives of its citizens in order to secure their own pensions when they retire. The evidence is now out there. If this doesn't force a change then we're all fucked for good.
Dave's becoming too toxic and his paymasters will see to it that he gets the chop pretty soon.

In favour of whom? He's probably the least worst option as front man.

This. This may be Britain's chance to fully enter the 20th(!) century politically. Going to an elementary school should not have a statistical correlation to running the country.
Although I wonder whether middle England is happy with this relationship.

Normally I don't struggle with shit like this so please humour me for a minute (I was the one explaining how off shore tax havens work to my other half) and I'm not playing devil's advocate, I'm merely trying to arm myself with correct facts for discussion (read: shouting at right wing wankers I work with) purposes.
Cameron sold his shares which totalled £30k (laughable but we can come back to that) in 2010. He paid UK tax on the £30k he made. All above board. So far everything he's admitted to have done/we can prove(?) suggests he hasn't done anything illegal, just immoral and the exact opposite of what he's been saying he's trying to stop. That can't be the end of the story though, can it? What further questions should we be asking, and what information can we glean/assume from what he have got?

And Zac.
You mean previously non-dom Zac, who's entire wealth and income is from offshore trusts?
How can he possibly be connected?
-
• #39873
2 additional points (I'm sure that other aspects are there, just to be uncovered):
1 - He never bothered to declare his offshore holdings in the Parliamentary Members interests register prior to becoming PM in 2010, contra to parliamentary rules
2 - He held bearer shares, an investment device his government has since abolishedbut the biggest uncovered point is: how is his father's offshore estate now being administered, and by what tax avoidant mechanism does Cameron and family benefit, because they have, they do, and they will.
