I'm probably the wrong person to ask but yeah, I would have thought metadata might still be a thing but not sure how much of a thing...

I prefer Signal but no-one uses it. Contacts that I send invites to just ignore them.

Stop talking to people. Suits me. :)

I got my missus onto it and a mate and a couple of other mates already had it. I disabled GChat and I've never used Facebook Mess, WhatsApp or anything. I have used Skype and MSN Messenger but not for ages.

Blackberry Messenger? :p

WhatsApp seems like a good option purely because everyone has it (almost) but I've just never liked the look and feel of it.

I've joined the darkside and am using iMessage now...
