x-post from my Raleigh thread. I currently have a pair of panniers that will take 30-36l, plus whatever I can strap to the Nitto M12 I've ordered (or put in a basket on top of it). For ~week long tours, how much extra space should I be looking to get?
Currently thinking the Blackburn seatpack and frame bag, but if I could get away with just a seatpack I might splurge on the Restrap one (max 13l drybag compared to the 11l that comes with the Blackburn). Has anyone handled either?

That's because they don't have any distractions such as social behaviour or sunlight for six months of the year, and are well-paid enough to spend these times obsessing over the correct components to cope with the horrible climate they have to deal with.
We're badly paid, prone to socialising in the pub and generally not going to be at the mercy of wild bears in sub zero temperatures because of our poor tyre choice and sadly it reflects in the style of our bikes which are best described as a haphazard assemblage or derring-do and lickspittle.
