Yeah high miles can be fine anyway - my current GSXR thou has nearly 45k on and still runs like a beast. Less than 4psi variance across all the cylinders and the only new things that've gone in are oil, filters and a camchain tensioner.
Bigger bikes have a fairly easy life for the most part, they just don't get thrashed.
