I use the karrimor 15L bag. Found it more comfortable that OMM and lots cheaper.

Once I started getting annoyed by people then I found it hard to stop that feeling snowballing and hating everyone/everything. Go into it with a good attitude and you'll benefit from the crowds
Sounds like good advice. I wasn't really getting annoyed with anyone, more just not liking being hemmed in. But I think everyone probably felt that a bit and it was all good natured and friendly. It did open up a bit after a few miles which I guess London will too? I can tell when I'm getting too tired on the bike because my mood deteriorates quite quickly so I can see why that would snowball in a marathon!

Binned 25 gel wrappers that had been discarded. There are bins like every 100m...
Don't get why people do this. Is your run more important than everyone else's future enjoyment of the area? No it is not. It's just a run. It's not that hard to put the wrapper in your pocket and bin it later.

I'm running my commute at the moment in order to get some miles into my legs, it's 12km/1 hour each way, and I have to carry an ironed shirt, pair of scrundies, socks, and sometimes a 13" laptop daily, with sometimes a larger load (when I swap pairs of trousers for e.g.).
I could probably (if I were better organised) keep swapping larger items until a cycle commute, so the requirement is really for a pack that will carry my daily change of clothes and maybe laptop without chafing or jumping around on my back like an energetic puppy.
Final point is that I'm 187cm/78kg, so if anyone is around that size and can make a recommendation that would be cracking.

@dammit put it on a sled and drag it along behind you. much more comfortable.
edit: get one of these, replace contents with clothes and laptop. win.

20l OMM purchased at lunch, had to strap it down much more tightly than I was expecting but no more chafing on the run home.
I did however bail on that halfway through as I am fucked.

I have purchased a Fenix 3, therefore my Fenix 2 is available - has (a minimum of) two chargers, original box, unread manuals etc.

Am interested, seeing as I want to replace the forerunner which I incidentally brought from you as well (which was in excellent condition and still going strong).
Let me have a look at the specs and see if it's what I'm looking for or overkill.

Cool, this is a good review: http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2014/03/garmin-fenix2-multisport.html
I have (confirmed) three of the proprietary USB leads, and two of the plugs-into-the-wall chargers complete with global adapters for each, all still in the plastic bags.

Just read some good reviews. Think it might be a bit overkill for me though, need something solely for running I think.
Anyone else looking to buy this I can vouch that dammit really looks after his stuff so will probably be in great condition.

I'm afraid that I have to point out a light scratch on the face of this watch, which I am sure would polish out - I'll take a photo when I get home and post it.

Do these charge Forerunner units too? If so, @DWatkinsLDN might still need one.

Turns out that my hip pain is not muscular or ligament related, but labral tears.
Probably in both hips.
So no more running then.
Bugger.

That's shit. how long?

At the moment, I don't know - I've doctors to see and scans to be made. Apparently, it's not good at fixing itself.
Saying that, it's pretty clear to me that the main damage was done back in '12, about half way through a marathon.

You'll need a stainless steel car, and enough road to hit 88mph then.

Fuck knows what labral tears are but really sorry to hear. ...
Keep your chin up
As others have said, n+1 time for your bag collection.
I use OMM Adventure Light 20, ace but roomy, tho not red.
