Who, out of the current squad, would you be sad to see go?
And which, if any, of the players do you see staying in the Prem? and which will stay at Villa?
Potentially there are 3-4 players I wouldn't be too disappointed if Everton signed (Gill, Gustede, and to a lesser extent Grealish and Ayew) but I'm not gonna get overexcited about any of them. Hopefully Lescott never comes back.

Sad is probably overstretching it but ideally I think it's worth keeping:
Amavi (injured still), Ayew, Gana, Grealish (if he can sort his shit out), Traore, Gil, Veretout, Okore
Gestede might find his level back in the championship but only worth keeping if we play with wingers, Bunn as back up keeper. Out of those I doubt we'll keep Ayew or Gana, and possibly not Gil or Veretout.Out:
Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia, Richardson, Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Sinclair - Fuck em all, don't care where they go. Guzan's past it so can retire to the MLS.Westwood, Sanchez, Cissokho - not bothered. Probably OK to keep for next season.

• #126735
Not one Villa player would get in the Everton team...
Glad to see the back of that Agbonlohor cunt! Not only so we don't have to see his drippy, ugly fizzog any more but he always scored against us!
-
• #126736
but he always scored against us!
The days of Gabby scoring are long gone - 11 in the last three seasons / 79 appearances. Fat lazy cunt.
-
• #126737
11 in 79?
Fuckin' hell - even we'd have moved him on with a return like that.

Out:
Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia, Richardson, Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Sinclair - Fuck em all, don't care where they go. Guzan's past it so can retire to the MLS.That was pretty much my Fantasy Premier League side, in 2008.

• #126739
He'd probably be our top scorer.
-
• #126740
Sweet Jesus...
-
• #126741
We gave him a new contract to 2018 and made him club captain. FML.

new fifa head already linked to bribery and dodgy dealings
the king is dead, long live the new dodgy king

9 points clear with six games to go. 8 defeats in 10.
We're the form side at the minute in the relegation battle.
-
• #126746
He should fit in nicely then
-
• #126747
8 former premier league teams in the bottom half of the championship table.
Villa will be part of that next year.
-
• #126748
Stop trying to add false excitement to your season. You achieved mid table obscurity with nothing to play for months ago. We on the other hand are taking it to the wire before fucking it all up, again.
-
• #126749
All getting a bit close at the top of the Championship. We're still unbeaten this year but the 3 draws in the last 3 games have made things a bit hairy.
-
• #126750
yup, 'boro have a game in hand too. To be played next Tue against Reading. A case of who can hold their nerve best now.
Confidence in coming back up - not high. Very dependent on a) new manager, b) shipping out the crap, c) investing in new players and d) hanging onto the few decent prospects. We need a keeper, couple of defenders, couple of midfielders and a couple of forwards at the very least.
Lerner won't be selling any time soon I don't think - he's unlikely to get what he wants as a Championship club so setting up the new board structure allows him to be hands off. Whether he'll sanction spending to get back up is the big unknown - I do know we'll be getting buttons for the players we do want to sell.
