Two furniture related questions:
My coffee table is this one from Mogens Kold:

I think the top is veneered and it's a bit scratched and has a dark ring from a cup - maybe coffee? Has anyone got a better suggestion than a light sanding and oiling?
The bedside table is a solid oak one by Hans Wegner (http://vamptvintagedesign.com/product/hans-wegner-bedside-table). It has aged nicely, but there is a rather large grease/oil stain on the top. How do I go about removing that? Or should I consider it part of it's history and leave it be?
